Constance Lémuria Resort has update its food standards to higher levels with the ISO 22000.The resort was granted the ISO certificate in September, becoming the first hotel to receive such a prestigious certificate for food standards in Seychelles.In conformity with the ISO 22000, Constance Lémuria Resort has introduced a Food safety policy stating that it will handle all its food services and products to the highest standards of hygiene in order to meet the requirements of the Food Safety and relevant legislation, but most importantly for the health of its clientele.As part of the implementation process, Constance Lémuria Resort ensured that all employees and stakeholders such as suppliers, government officials and hoteliers were aware of the advancement of the project.It has also invested in new equipment, infrastructural changes including buffet, training, food transportation.The resort is now regularly audited by the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company to ensure that the Food Safety Management System is well monitored and maintained.
